Introduction

Lawyer Dinh Huy is a Senior Lawyer at H&C Legal. Previously, he served for nearly 3 years as Deputy Head of the Legal Advisory Department at Concetting, one of the first and leading consulting firms in Vietnam. From 2017, he worked at VPBank Securities as Head of the Legal Department. From 2019 to 2020, he worked at Shin & Kim, one of the four largest law firms in South Korea. Lawyer Huy also served for 06 months as Head of the Legal Department of Vinsmart Research and Manufacture JSC, a subsidiary of Vingroup. There, he was responsible not only for the legal and compliance matters of that company but also for the establishment and/or legal and compliance matters of Vingroup’s overseas subsidiaries in countries such as the United States, Mexico, the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Singapore, Myanmar, Thailand…

Lawyer Dinh Huy has advised and assisted foreign investors in establishing their commercial presence in Vietnam by setting up foreign-invested enterprises, contributing capital to or purchasing shares in Vietnamese enterprises, or establishing representative offices in Vietnam. He has provided legal advice on a wide range of investment matters in Vietnam, including M&A transactions, and has been involved in various stages of M&A transactions such as legal due diligence reports and negotiation of the terms and conditions of share purchase agreements, shareholders’ agreements or joint venture contracts. Lawyer Dinh Huy also has extensive experience in drafting/reviewing dossiers for private placements of bonds and shares, bond subscription agreements and share subscription agreements of joint stock companies in Vietnam.
